We recommend placing the camera in a plastic bag, then in a sturdy box, with bubble wrap, polystrene chips or even crumpled newspaper to protect it.
Use NZ Post or a courier company - use of a traceable ticket is highly recommended, plus you may wish to check the carriers Insurance cover.
